my pottery teachers friend is putting on a shoe show...any kinds of shoes made of clay but also can include mixed media. i'm making a turtle shoe.
this is the shoe pre-glaze last night. i did the shell part in a green and the shoe base in a sort of reddish/brown. i hope it's radical! then i'm going to add grass to the base somehow. eric is convinced we can pull glass to be grass shape and use that. i'm willing to give it a try but a smidge skeptical!
