More weirdness and more waiting!!!
So I went and got a bunch of MRIs taken. It was not a fun experience. I was very nervous. I kept my eyes closed the whole time. The guy couldn't find a vein and totally bruised my arm up to hell by giving me an injection of dye. It hurt when I got home and I still have a nasty bruise the size of a golf ball on my arm and that was done last week.
The next day they call me and tell me the Radiologist wants me to come in for some contrast cervical ones. I about cried when they told me this. I didn't want to go back and go thru that again. But I knew I needed to so I scheduled yet another appointment. The only time I could get in was 8:30 at night which really sucked because the next morning I was suppose to be in Owosso at 5:30am for inventory. This visit really sucked. I didn't even get back into the room till 9 and then I still had to wait for 10 minutes and by the time I was back into the lobby it was 10pm!! I had to wait another 5 minutes to get my cd of all my scans and get gas on the way home. Chris had been waiting for me and was practically asleep and didn't look very pleased when I finally came out.
When we finally got home I grabbed the disc outta my purse wanting to look at my scans on the pc before I went to bed. I look at it and realize it has someone else's name on it. WTF! They gave me someone else's disk. So I call and let them know and tell them I will be in tomorrow at some point to get mine and bring this one back. I was so annoyed.
So I finally got my cd of scans and I have looked at them several times. I wish I could tell if they are normal or not. There are a whole lot of scans I know that...of my brain and my cervical vertebra and stuff...kinda neat...kinda gross at the same time.
So my appointment at the neurologist isn't till May 19th!!!!!!!! I don't want to have to wait that long to know anything!! I am wondering if I can call the office and find out anything? I am gonna call tomorrow and see and if they won't tell me anything I am gonna see if they have any earlier openings which I highly doubt but I am gonna say I don't want to have to wait that long to know anything about my scans!
My left hand has been numb(pins and needles feeling) for 2.5 weeks now and its spreading to my arm and my left side. Its very annoying. Ofcourse the pills I am taking don't stop that or do anything for that. I guess I am just gonna have to keep on dealing with it and hope its nothing major till I get in to the Neuro again! This whole thing is taking forever and I just want to know whats going on and whats wrong with me if anything.
