A little update
Chris is still looking for a job. I really hope they pass another extension for unemployment. If they do next week he will get another 13 weeks paid. That would definitely give him more time to find something. His buddy that he use to work with got out before he lost his job and him and his wife ended up moving to Redford. Apparently he is doing well since his wife doesn't work..they have a toddler and another on the way and they just bought a house..its being built right now. He works for a medical company. He said he might be able to get Chris a job there. I would definitely be willing to move. We rent and its month to month.
Not sure if I want to wear my dress I got on ebay to the Vampire Ball now. Its a tad too small...but I don't know if I want to be in a formal gown all night. I am thinking I kinda want to be a scary/sexy vampire. I would like to find a black sexy neat dress..maybe something vintage. I don't think I want to wear a nice puffy floor length formal gown. I looked at 2 Goodwills today but found nothing. I did end up getting 2 cool black shirts and some hippy patchwork overalls and a glass box though. Guess I will keep on looking. I could always wear my corset with a skirt if it comes down to it and maybe the cool sheer black spider web like shirt I got today.
Spent today with my Grandma. We met for lunch then I took her to get gas in her car and get groceries. I then carried them all in for her and helped her put them away. She is going to be 87 in February. She is doing well for her age but I didn't realize that she was that old. I thought she was 85. The thought of her dying brings tears to my eyes. She has always been a good Grandma. I am really the only family she has here besides her niece who has MS. My Dad was an only child and he lives in South Carolina. I try to help her out as much as I can. I am the only one she has who can do things for her. I don't mind helping her. I feel like I am repaying her for being such a great Grandma to me and my Mom and Dad and brother back when we were young and still one big family. Her and my Grandpa did so much for us and helped us out so much when we were struggling. They always spoiled me and my brother too.
Bella has been really cranky lately. I don't know what her deal is. She has been biting me alot and letting out her bitchy meow. I play with her and she just gets mad right away and wants to bite and attack my hand. Maybe she doesn't like this humidity/heat. We haven't been running the air either. She is a weird cat. She likes to lay in front of a fan or the vent and let the cold air blow on her face and fur.
I need to go throw some laundry in. I haven't really gotten anything done today since I was gone. I have tomorrow off too and plan to hang around here and get a few things done and sleep in. Thursday is my store inventory. It will be another long day and I have to be there at 5:30am. At least its payday!
