Tooth pulled...lets hope it heals well

Got my wisdom tooth pulled today and a small cavity filled. I didn't get the scaling done which was a relief. My insurance is not wanting to cover it. Apparently if your 35 and older no problem but since I am 33 they need more proof. My xrays show I need it but I guess they want more proof so today after I got my tooth yanked they had to measure my teeth and gums. I am waiting to get it done because if my insurance won't cover it its like a $800 procedure. Think getting it done today with everything else would of been too much anyways.

The tooth pulling went smoothly....I didn't even bleed all that much..the Dentist seemed kinda surprised. I have been taking Vicodin..once the shot wore off it started aching back there. I have already taken several today. They help alot. I am paranoid about getting dry socket though. I DO NOT want to get that. I am following all the directions he gave me but I noticed I have been swallowing more and I am worried that might be bad. My mouth has been bleeding some and then the saliva....I have been real thirsty too. I did finally eat something. Chris got me a stromboli. I could only eat 3 pieces and that took me like an hour. I just ate on the one good side since I didn't want to bite down on the side where the tooth got pulled.

I hope I am better tomorrow and can eat normal. I have a script of antibiotics if I need them.
