Hiya / Preview of Current Projects
Hello. I really hate introductions, so don't expect much from this entry.
I'm Aralie. This is my Sims 2 journal, which will eventually be filled with all sorts of fun stuff for you loves to download. Until then, it shall be a bit empty. I haven't used LJ in YEARS, so I'm trying to remember how everything works again. It's changed a bit. If someone would like to explain to me how to completely customize my layout, that would be fantastic. Seriously. I got the custom mood icons up, but I also followed a really easy tutorial. -Sigh.
Anyway, here's a preview of my current projects. These should be up in a few days...
The Maxis Makeover Project - Community Lot Edition
I have an obsession with making over Maxis lots and/or downloading other people's made over Maxis lots. There are quite a few lots that I haven't found a decent make over of. So, I'm doing them myself. I'm starting with the community lots, then moving to the residential ones. I'm starting with Desiderata Valley (although, I'm really just jumping around and working on more than one 'hood at a time). Anyway, have some photos...
First up, the Frippery Frock in Desiderata Valley...

This was one of those lots that make me puke in my mouth a bit. What the hell, Eaxis?! What is this?! Also, where the fuck are the windows?
My Version:
Yeah. Not the same building at all. : ) Ignore the billboard on top. I'm still not sure if I like it or hate it. I lost the CC billboard that was there. No idea what happened to it, but it somehow got deleted. So, I replaced it with a random recolour of a Maxis Painting. lol.
Next up, the Centre Drip Coffee Shop in Belladonna Cove...

I found myself wondering if Eaxis was too lazy to put the roof deco pieces all the way around, so they just stuck corner pieces in and left it? Ugh.

Anyway, the MMO lots should be up in a few days. Centre Drip is completely finished, and Frippery Frock is over halfway finished.
