So, I haven't posted here in ages.

Yeah, I tend to leave/ignore my LJ for periods of time. I mean, honestly, I don't know html or whatever so I can't mess around with making it cool, and I'm not interesting enough to write about my day to day life, and I don't constantly write fics... What am I supposed to fill it with? Random posts like this, I guess ( Read more... )

Another fellow of not knowing HTML XD
I can do basic HTML, but nothing more than that.

Haha, same! Nowhere near what I would need to do all this fancy stuff that people do to their blogs.

Ditto there! I know nothing of HTML coding when it comes to layouts or something of the like. I'm hopeless =_=

I messed it up once, and never try again lol

Btw, usxuk comm is a bit quiet after secret santa yeah?

Nice, nice. XD

Yeah, it is quiet... Depressingly so, almost.

I think even the main comm is not as 'crowded' as it used to be. But dunno, I rarely bother checking the main comm unless there's blog update or events.

Mostly I stick to pairing comm. Less poisonous and to minimalize crossing path with squicky pairings or fics.

Oh man, I never check the main comm. Honestly, I'm done with Hetalia as a whole- I'm just in it for USUK now, and whatever characters are needed to fill in the worlds I build.

But yeah, I think that, however subtly, the crazies of the Hetalia fandom are dying down and moving on to newer things. In some ways, that's probably good, but in others... Eh.

Too much drama and wank-fest. Not to mention otp/headcanon wars. I don't give a damn what people ship. Ship what you ship, like what you like just don't get all bitchy and defensive when someone else says they like other pairings or have different ideas. If we have same OTPs, we can fangirl and gaga over them together. If not, we can still talk civilly. Just don't expect me to respond, let alone reciprocate, when you gush about your so-called OTP. Some people just don't have enough common sense :|

Agreed. Though I will admit that I have a very... volatile personality, and that I might respond aggressively to even the subtlest of provocation, intended or not, so I can't always stay out of that kind of stuff. But I do my best.

Haha, it depends on the person though. If, at first, I already stated that 'No, I don't like A/B pairing' or that my OTPs are this and that and I don't support either of them with other character but that person still gush and gush and gush about his/her own OTP and how her/his otp would work, then do forgive me for telling you to fuck off.

LJ is not too bad, well to me, but tumblr or other sites... not so much.

I actually really like Tumblr. XD I have most Hetalia-related stuff blocked, since I don't want to deal with more drama than necessary, so it's pretty enjoyable.

I just think LJ is kind of boring. It has a lot more quiet time than Tumblr.

Yeah, tumblr is handy and easier to deal with than lj. But gosh! Too many drama and wankfest and otp bashing :( Perhaps it's the advantage of anonymity or the impersonal setting of the blog. But yeah. Drama. I once stumbled upon a AmericaBelarus shipper bitched about USUK shippers. Claiming that we're bratty and too all over the place and basically drown her otp. *snorts*

Ha, nice. XD Luckily I never encounter those kind of people, because my blog honestly isn't Hetalia or USUK related at all. It's mostly Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, food, weaponry, and sometimes fashion. I'm probably a bit disappointing, honestly. XD

I rarely stumble upon them, either my f-list mentioned it or someone pointed it out. But once in a while I came across it myself. Those rare times are enough to make me headdesk-ing. It's ranging from mild to downright infuriating. I almost tempted to say 'Fuck you, bitches!' XD

Oh, I have, trust me. More politely worded, of course, but I like to think the "fuck you" was a nice, not too subtle undertone to the whole thing.
