What Are They Teaching Kids Today?
Working onsite today, I was out on public transport wearing my black longcoat, my canvas Halo laptop bag and carrying my Aikido training weapons (in a vinyl softcase). Tonight is my Aikido training and I was expecting to work long hours, so I planned on going straight to Aikido after work. But I'm a very efficient worker and everything I'm working on is awaiting approval so my services were not needed and I got out early. Too early to go to Aikido, so I came home, still lugging my training weapons.
So, I'm on this tram when a teenage 'ranga comes up to me and asks straight out "are you a wizard?"
Ironically this kid could have been a stunt double for Ronald Weasley in his bad-hair years.
Good thing I wasn't wearing my Doctor Who scarf or it would really have confused him.
