My reply shall not be able to do justice to your epic comment of awesome, because I am (supposed to be) working on my thesis, but OF COURSE Dairine is going to become a hipster. (Which makes me laugh even more at the line in "Walls" about skinny jeans, because, YES.)

I am definitely thinking through my mix/fic hybrid now! Gah! (This makes 3 unfinished D/R-ish projects: that Young Wizards/Artemis Fowl crossover, coffee!AU, and now this. NOT LIKE I HAVE TIME FOR ANY OF IT.) It would probably be kind of emo though, and not all sunshine and happiness, because although I really really really x1000 hope this does not actually happen, I am suddenly envisioning a scenario where Dairine is left searching for Roshaun for YEARS, developing this obsession around him, but when she finally finds him, he has either 1) been in a place where time runs differently, so drastically more/less time has passed for him than for her or 2) been through some kind of life-changing situations of his own, so that they are not the same people they fell in love with and they have to sort this out, and it is HARD. With ANGST.
