18-year-old Fabrics
WAI! I had the most awesomest time at a dear friend's b-day party! YAY! Happy 18th, Katy! *luff* It was just soooo awesome getting to be goofy and chill with good friends. I mean, there's nothing like being able to take a deep breath, relax, and feel totally free to be, well, yourself. I luff my peoples. LOVE TO THE PEOPLE!
Right when I got home, I was so excited about my Ritsu Sohma (from Fruba) costume that I decided to go out and get the fabric TONIGHT. YAY for Hancock's being open until 9pm!
Well, you see, I was going to use broadcloth for the kimono, but... the didn't have enough in the color that I wanted and... the satin was just so pretty that, I sprang for the satin! YAY! It's gonna be so pretty and shiny! And the stuff cost a lot less than I was expecting it to, so I'm happy! I've heard Satin can be really hard, but I'm up for the challenge! I mean, worst case, I just pay Tracie to do it for me.
I'm sure she wouldn't mind the extra cash. ^_~ I'd have to give her enough notice, though... Hmmm... *nerdified* I'm just so excited, I dunno if I can wait until I know how to sew! *jumps up and down* ...
Maybe I shouldn't've had three cups of coffee at 8pm... *shrugs* Meh. Whatev. Happy happy excited excited!
