::pads in and looks at the last few posts, then looks around:: Oh, it's 2006 already... ::changes all the calendars to 2006::
Well, I'm still alive and live still sucks.. ;>

Today I decided I'd spam your friend-pages with useless geekery again... Some of you might, some of you might not, remember the cellphone (namely a Sony Ericsson P800) I bought off eBay and got a phone that got worse reception then my mothers underwear. (if you wish to read about it go here)

Anyways, I found a place that sells cheap spare parts for the phone and decided to order a few parts... Let's have a look at the list (checked means it's fixed):
[X] The jogdial doesn't work right
[X] cover/ casing: Cheap plastic, no cutout for the IRDA-Port [kinda fixed, the cover works and the IRDA goes through the plastic covering it]
[X] The Antenna seems to be starting to corrode. [It was all corroded. Replaced]
[X] side-pins on the keypad (flip) are missing [Replaced them with metal pins]
[] Dust under the Touchscreen
[X] The buzzer (the speaker for the ringtones, audio-playback and handsfree phoning) rattles [replaced]
[X] Lost the stylus [bought a new one]

All in all the phone now seems to work, reception is as good as on my 3650. Still can't use the flip thanks to a firmware bug which will cause the phone to suck the battery empty in half an hour when the flip is closed, yay. The dust is still there, something I shall have, to think about... and I'll prolly get a new cover off eBay cheap sometimes.
