After coming back from Eurofurence. directly going to bed last night and about 12 hours of sleep I finally feel kinda alive again...
Well, the con was great, if a bit stressful for myself... I can't wait for the first videos or pictures to come in so I can finally see all the events that happened on stage, as as usual I didn't get to see any of them besides Kage vs 2 from in front of the stage.
It was nice to meet a lot of people I haven't seen for a while. It was also fun meeting a few people I haven't met before, even tho I probably wasn't much of a conversationalist, given that my English is usually quite rusty and only was finally in correct working order at 5:30 am on the conventions Sunday (when the con basically was over...).
If I have offended you in any way, be it lack of intelligent replies to what you were saying, be it seeming unfriendly or be it just bumping into you somewhere in a hallway with a hurried "sorry" and then running away: I didn't want to offend or seem unfriendly to anyone... I just sometimes have problems following conversations, especially when they're speaking fluent, quick and accented English and I was quite busy most of the time, already thinking of what needs to be done later...
I wish I had had more time this year to sit down and simply talk to people.... then again I say that every year. But I'll see if I can find someone who's willing to take over one or some of the things I'm doing for next year. I just have the feeling that if I don't do it nobody will... I surely hope I'm wrong there.
Oh well, all in all it was a nice con.
