I give you my new companion, Miniskunk:
It's an Asus EeePC 1000h and so far has beaten the company IBM Stinkpad I've now and then lugged around in just about all areas:
Compared to the Stinkpad, Miniskunk has a faster CPU, more RAM, about 8 times the HDD capacity and USB2. That's not to shoddy, I'd say.
Haven't yet been able to reach the proclaimed battery capacity of 7 hours, but even the 5 hours something I got out of it so far are quite nice.
And it's actually mine, not just lent, borrowed, something someone else didn't need or want anymore... quite nice for a change.
(Well, actually it'll be mine in about 10 Month, but let's not talk about that now.
And no, the stripes didn't come as a factory feature, I added them. ;>
Well, enough userpage spammage, back to the usual dust collecting for my journal.
