I have so many other things I need to talk about (Benedict Cumberbatch x2 plus others; The Social Boyfriends Network oh my god, rest assured that will be a post in and of itself) but I just saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and I have feelings. I just don't understand how this fandom functions because it is a fandom that thrives on things that are on the outside of the text, barely mentioned or entirely non-canon whatsoever and everyone's cool with that, but dare mention the idea that Hermione loves Harry and suddenly everyone's like OMG HDU WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, IT'S LIKE INCEST/YOU HAVE NO TASTE/YOU'RE SO STUPID. I uderstand that this is a formative experience for so many people in fandom but when say, Hermione/Snape gets less hate than a far more legitimate (AND IN THE FUCKING TEXT) ship like H/Hr, I just sit there and am like:




WHAT ARE YOU DOING FANDOM. SHUT IT DOWN, SHUT IT DOWN.

In other words, even as a Trio shipper, I AM HERE FOR YOU BB.
