Congrats Finland!
Ah, the addictive trash otherwise known as Eurovision Song Contest! This was more fun to watch then last years, the usual audiovisual bodily injuries were inflicted and nice to see that the Balkan-, Scandinavian- and ex-Soviet-republic-connections still work ^_~
But even the infamous block-voting couldn't stand against the finnish monsters! Kudos for Metal winning the Contest!
The German song was actually not bad imo *gasp* (aside from the WTF "Country?!"-kneejerk-reaction) but the singer was weirdly overpowered by her band volumewise... Anyway to look at the bright side, they definitely made their fortune in the last weeks with the album-sellings - so no reason to be disappointed for a band totally unknown before. It worked out quite well for them!
