The new normal
This afternoon I went and met a friend at Applebee's. Who I hadn't seen sense this all started. The restaurant was practice social distancing, it was less then half full. It was strange.
But we had a good visit. She lost her husband two years ago. She says she is ready to date. She is even thinking about trying online dating. The worries me as she is pretty naive. Dating has changed sense was dating in high school 40 plus years ago.
It was good th catch up in person. We have kids the same age so that's how we meet. Her husband didn't like me. I was too independent for him, he thought she would get into trouble being friends. Well she didn't listen to him. And he finally decided I was a good person. He even wanted to say goodbye to me before he passed.
