Though, hum, from the Zap2It article, not much in common with our adorable Peter Burke...

Tim playing another baddie? This makes me happy and sad.

Why sad?
He's good at playing baddies. And I'm sure he'll play other good guys in the future. But after so many episodes of being the master of adorableness, Tim probably needed to shake it off a bit... ;-)

It's sad that he keeps getting these tiny, meaningless roles - betcha he's got four minutes of screen time, tops.

It's the same cardboard cut-out type of character he played in Chuck, in Revenge, in NCIS. It'll be good to see him, but where's the quality?

It'll take some time for him to get a major role. He's barely finished filming White Collar 2 months ago. I'd say it's just a guest starring role to keep himself busy. Also maybe introducing himself to a younger audience?

(On the Zap site article, someone was excited to see him guest starring because he would bring the big WC fanbase. ;-) )

Honestly I'd rather have him guest star in a show I actually watch (The Good Wife or Person of Interest, or even How to Get Away with Murder, that'd be awesome), but at least that's something I'll be able to watch. Not so sure about Matt's freak show...

I am really excited about this. I love Agents of Shield. I think Joss & Jed Whedon are excellent writers & producers. : )

Given who Tim is going to be portraying, I think this could be a lot more than just a quick throw away role.

not sure I'd be eager to see him become a regular - I'm not into superhero stuff, but that's still good exposure. :-)

My husband, who counts this as one of his favorite shows, says the same! He thinks it could likely be recurring.

And now that we've seen the article on marvel.com, which says "his first appearance," it seems even more possible.

One can hope! <3

What a picture :-) Though it makes me sad to think Peter Burke is no more.

Peter Burke still has 6 episodes. :-)
But yeah, that's going to be a hard page to turn...
