Additions and amendments to the litmus test
New charges:
Under "plot" :
Gratuitous time shifting
4 points if the time shifting occurs in an inappropriate place in the story
Under "redundancies" :
Jack drinking rum to excess.
5 points if the OFC destroys the rum
6 points if the original character gets drunk herself
6 points if either one makes romantic overtures to the other while drunk
7 points if the captain asks, at any point in the story, "Why is the rum gone?"

Correction: 8 points if the offender is Norrington
This was a HUGE mistake! *apologizes profusely to the commodore* You see, I originally had hyphen marks before all of the additional points to signify that they were subheadings, not separate charges. Later, I decided that it looked too much like they were minus points, and I deleted them all, it seems, except one.
The other error is minor: when I mention anachronistic clothing, I say "i.e. a tube top or shorts". In fact, it should be "e.g.", the correct term for pointing out possible examples. (Yeah, I know, no one cares, but hey, I'm with the Department of Technical Errors.)
