If Damon Salvatore is the fictional character that I'm most attracted to but would never, ever be into if it were real life, Prince Arthur is the one who I am slightly less intense about but would seriously still love in a real life situation.
I really liked how Merlin was worried about what Uther would do to him if Morgana turned him in. That felt very real to me.
I didn't like how Morgana freaking ALWAYS smiled so obviously so that we the audience would understand that she was being duplicitous and is actually evil. Give us some credit; be more subtle. On the other hand, I'm the kind of person who in general loves it when characters lie and the audience doesn't know it (please see: why I love that Katherine's back in Mystic Falls). Of course this only works when we know that the character is not to be trusted, otherwise it's just a cheap and unsophisticated way to create drama. In this case, I think Morgana has been sufficiently established as a traitor that we can skip the evil grins at banquets and such. Girl, people are going to pick up on that.
I loved Arthur in everything that he did, especially refusing to give up on his father. Politically that may have been a bad move, but I like characters putting their families before everything else.
I didn't like Morgause not pressing Merlin into finding out what he's hiding. Cop out.
I did like how Cenred was kind of gorgeous. I think I may legitimately ship him and Morgause. I hope he's not going to end up some one shot character.
Also, I did not like how I got concerned during Uther's reunion with Morgana that he was going to kiss her. (Was that just me?) Gross, you're like her father.
Anything else?
