Here's something else I geek out about: Merlin
That would be the BBC's new show, Merlin.
Arthur is really attractive. A definite kick in the ovaries, even if he is honey blond.
No, seriously, every time Arthur has lines like, "He only wants to serve", I feel compelled to yell something like, "Your pants only want to serve!" back at him.
Also, I find myself unwillingly convinced that Arthur and Merlin are suffering from copious amounts of sexual tension. In a palpable-through-my-computer-screen way. Which, clearly, is not what the writer's are aiming at; I think we're supposed to be noticing how Arthur is meant for Morgana and how Merlin totally loves Guinevere as a friend and one day more, etc. But that, alas, is overshadowed by Merlin and Arthur's blatantly apparent longing for one another.
I mean, I can't ship them because it's not canon (shut up, Remus/Sirius is in the books!), but this is possibly even better, because their UST will NEVER BE RESOLVED. They will be tense forever, and that is my favorite part of TV.
