Jasmine, our principal violist, is going into surgery. She went home last week, and now she's getting surgery. She has been so sick for the past few weeks, but no one knows exactly what's wrong with her.
She is probably going to miss the concert, which means I'll be sitting principal.
While on one hand I'm excited to sit first, I hate that it has to come under such circumstances.
I hope that she'll be alright, and that the surgery is just minor/preventive/exploratory.
My parents might drive to New Orleans Sunday morning, watch the concert, and drive back. They'll already have a rental car (they're taking college road trips for KK this week, since it's their spring break), so they'll just drive that.
[edit 8.25pm] Jasmine is coming back in time for the concert, apparently. I was having trouble focusing in the front today, so I don't know how well I would've done on the concert. Hmmm, maybe we'll never know.
