Man, I had the chance to make $150 today, but I got the email too late.
It was from an FBSO cellist, who was performing for a friend and needed a violist. He originally sent it to my section leader, but she wasn't available, so she forwarded it to me. I got it at 11pm last night, and didn't want to call him that late, so I called him this morning. He said they found someone else, but he'll keep me in mind for the next one.
Woe. I could've used that $150.
