The Alarm (CL)Hawk

A few months ago I saw a very interesting documentary about  the New York hawks that live in a nice building overlooking Central Park. I thought it was unusual, exotic and exciting.  Those were the days when I also thought that Ros's garden foxes were cute and that listening to wolves in Suz's street should be pretty amazing... That's not my opinion anymore! Why?

I HAVE A HAWK IN MY WINDOW SILL EVERY MORNING AT SIX A.M.!

It started as an exotic event and yes, it was very exciting indeed...  I used to get up and try to have a look through the semi closed shutters, amazed by the proximity of real wildlife in the city.
I think I told everyone about MY hawk. I bet I was even annoying some times, so proud I was that she chose my window amongst hundreds of others! It was magic!
When I realized that the peculiar noise I heard at dawn outside came from some sort of bird of prey, brown and white, with a strong beak and acute sight, I was amazed! I don't really know if it's a hawk, but it's very similar and just as beautiful. I decided she was a girl because her eyes were tender.
I spied on her moving slowly, so I wouldn't be noticed, but in two weeks she only allowed me two quick glances at her wonderful feathers before flying away.

Now I can't stand the stupid bird! I hate the sound she makes! It's even creepy! Besides, it's so close to my head it seems like an alarm-clock. And it goes on religiously from 6 A.M. from 6:15 A.M. I no longer sleep after that. And what is my hawk doing while singing like an opera-hawk? She's carving the earth in one of my vases, digging up my scottish bulbs!!!  What for? I don't know... She does not eat them, but If I bury them, she''ll dug them out in the next morning...

HELP! I want to sleep until 8:00 tomorrow!
