it seems I've developed a reputation I now need to maintain...
Sarah: "You liked The Eternal Ones, so you'd probably like this book called Evermore because it's about reincarnation and immortals and stuff. It's the first in a series.
Me: Cool beans, I'll check it out.

Me: *reads first three books*

Me: I finished the third book.
Sarah: I haven't even gotten that one because the ending of the second one annoyed me so much.
Me: The ending of the third annoyed the hell out of me, as did the second. But if you'd like to borrow it some time, you can.
Sarah: I'm not sure I want to emotionally re-invest in these books if they annoyed you.
So then I went and re-read The Eternal Ones because the entire time I was reading The Immortals books I kept comparing them to tEO, which isn't really fair because it's several books versus the one and they aren't too similar when you break them down, despite all their common elements. I've been working on a proper ranty post about it all that I'll try and get around to actually posting rather than keeping it inside of my head.
But aside from all the reading I've been doing I've been watching the Women's World Cup and sleeping because work is ridiculous. GO GO USA!!!
