new stuff
i got a haircut yesterday. the lady cut a thin spot into my hair. curse you, supercuts. no tip for her.
i also got a nice new shirt and tie. the shirt is white. looks good on me under my black sport-coat. good semi-formal stuff, but i feel weird in white. maybe i should get the black version too... they also had a nice looking pair of converse sneakers, but they were skateboarding flats, not the traditional all-stars. i almost bought them, but they didn't have my size. i want a new pair of jeans, too. i don't like the color on these...
i need a new surge protector/battery backup. mine is fried, or something. it flicks on and off every few seconds -- but curiously, the non-battery plugs work whether or not it's on. in other buggy computer stuff news, i downloaded the new thunderbird, and it doesn't run at all. the old version i have crashes pretty often now. lame. and i made a new rock playlist for the random mode on my mp3 player. good times.
who wants to go skating tomorrow? i wanna go a bit early, and look at skates. i'm gonna buy a pair, but maybe not tomorrow neccessarily. i also have "headphones" on my list of new things to buy. anyone know a store where i can listen to some good pairs in-store? i've been researching on the internet, but i feel like a blind man shopping for paintings.
the sequel to the camera i practically fell in love with last year is coming out soon too. looks like it might have fixed most of the reasons i didn't buy the original. since i don't have enough money for this one, and tests don't look promising...
