paints, fingers, and girls
started my job with sharon koskoff. it's rather exhausting, but fun. we got a fair portion of the first coat of paint on the first mural today. the principal said the central figure was "too skirty" whatever that means, so we had to change the design a little. after spending an hour setting up this morning, and several hours mixing paint, someone came in and told us that we need to move our tables because they have to built a desk there. that was kind of frustrating.
the first day i was painting, i somehow injured my left thumb, probably on some paint encrusted on the roller handle. tore some skin off -- not bad or painful, but not something you wanna get paint in either. in the last few days, i've since developed a papercut on another finger, and a hangnail on yet another that i managed to tear wide open today. so now i have bandages on three fingers. and "waterproof" medical tape, my ass. know what is waterproof? masking tape. really.
i called filiz today to see if she wanted to go skating with me an my brother this friday, cause she seemed so excited about it last time. she said she has plans, with her boyfriend. not that i was interested interested, but ah well. i called bri, and left a message. she hasn't picked up the last two times i've called. should i take the hint?
