First I'll say Paranoid by Black Sabbath. This song in combination with The Wizard really turned me onto Black Sabbath... well, I don't remember when, but in turn I moved onto Ozzy, rock music in general and then reverted back to new wave... go figure.

Pictures of Lily by the Who should probably have been higher on my list, really. I've always loved the Who and this song fascinated me as a child. I couldn't believe that a band in that era could so openly sing about such things... yes, I was young and naive and didn't realize every band in every era sings about such things. Of course, I always pictured it was about Lily Munster rather than the presumed Lille Langtry.
