I really like the 1 1/2" cross-stitched buttons! Have you made any where the arc reactor half is blue and black or blue and white instead of yellow and red?

Hi there! I don't have one currently made with blue and black instead of the red and yellow, but if you don't mind a delay of a few days (Monday or Tuesday at the latest) I could definitely make one for you!

My first thought would be to use a couple shades of blue: a blue-black for the red, and then a medium and very light shade of blue to make it look like it's 'glowing' (I actually have glow-in-the-dark thread I could use if you were interested). Or I could swap out the red and yellow for black and an electric blue color- whichever you'd prefer. :D

I'm interested - and I don't mind a delay!

Hmm... those both sound really cool. Would it be possible to buy three - one with glow-in-the-dark, one with electric, and then a third of whichever one worked best (or a third that is something else if you want to try something else)? Sorry, I know I'm being picky! I don't mind waiting extra or paying a bit extra :)

Don't worry about being picky! Think about it this way- you're giving me an excuse to experiment! ^^

To do all three should take me less than a week to do, and there's no extra charge for the different color. :) I'll send you a PM (or e-mail) when they are really to be mailed out, so you'll know they're heading your way. If that sounds alright with you, your total is $24 and my Paypal is broken.arachne@gmail.com (you can send it as payment for goods or services). Thanks so much!

Got the payment! I'll get in contact with you when it's ready to ship and I'm going to screen your comment so your e-mail address won't be visible to the entire world. XD Thanks again!

Awesome! I take it you sent it to the N. Yellowstone address? I think that's the only one on my PayPal account...

Oh yeah, that's the right one! I don't use PayPal often so I wanted to make sure. I'm really excited to see the buttons!

oh good! I was worried there for a moment! ^^

I think the different color combinations turned out really well and I can't wait to hear what you think of them!

The buttons arrived on Friday, and they are FANTASTIC. I took some pictures because I'm a dork and I love glow-in-the-dark things as much as I did when I was ten (unfortunately I never quite learned how to focus low-light pictures).

OMG! You got pictures of it glowing in the dark! *flails*

I actually took a few pictures before I mailed it, but I didn't want to post them anywhere before you got to see them in person-- but for the life of me, I could not get a decent picture of the glow-in-the-dark button actually glowing. So, yeah you just made my day! XD

And I am so happy you and your friend like the buttons! I finally just put up a post for feedback, so if you'd like to leave some here (http://arachnes-web.livejournal.com/8375.html), I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again for the order and thanks so much for the lovely photos!

Haha, I'm not going to lie - I had to look up a tutorial online for glow-in-the-dark photography before I even tried. I figured you probably took your own photos, but I'm glad I shared if the glow-in-the-dark one made your day ;-)

Anyway, I left feedback & I just wanted to say once again that the buttons are awesome. I'm looking forward to wearing mine at C2E2 and the Avengers movie and Free Comic Book Day!

Eeeee! I also love glow-in-the-dark like a 10 year-old and that looks fantastic.

It is fantastic! The room needs to be very dark before the glow is visible, but then it's distinctly half of an arc reactor which is an awesome use of glow-in-the-dark.
