Amanda, Diane and I are going to get bagels today - a rarity in Costa Rica. That means bread with a hole in it, which makes the bread oh-so-much better, especially with melty cheese. Bagels warm my winter nights.

FYI, bagel in Spanish is "panecillo en forma de rosca." No wonder they adopt so many of our words...
