Lost speculation

Although I've been trying to avoid the spoiler threads, I've been hearing some disconcerting rumours. One of them, about Kate, has got me thinking it might be based on fact, though. Like I said it's a rumour, I've got know reason to believe it's a solid spoiler, but I'll put it behind a cut, anyway.

God no!
I really don't think Kate's going to die.
1- she's the female lead
2- there's still a lot pf story left to tell
3- the triangle/quadrangle of doom is not over

it could be possible as a cliffhanger though, it'd be a cool one

I'm still hoping the polygon of doom will end before the finale. Not much chance, I know, but hope springs eternal and all that. :)

LOL. Kate dead. Neven going to happen. But yea, I can see it as a cliffhanger.
To be honest, I wished that they'll just stop with the triangle. Really. To be quite honest, I THINK I'd rather Kate be with Jack then her being all over the place. But that's just me.

I'm not at that point *yet*. Kate's still my favourite character and I hate what Jack does to her.

Hmm. It won't happen. But I agree that they might tease us with it as a cliffie. Which might be sort of obnoxious, but I see no possible way it could happen. And my reasoning...if Jack did it? I don't care how accidentally it was, Sawyer would kill him. No ifs, ands, or buts. And as unpredictable as Lost loves to be, I can't see them killing their two "main" characters in one fell swoop.

Oh yeah, I don't see her actually dying, but they could leave us wondering like they did with the raft in season one.
