So basically, this is FAIRY FORE the second, except Yasu quit music so he's not involved. It's still going to be amazing. I wish I could be in Japan on the 13.
I hope Yuuki (STOP CHANGING THE WAY YOU WRITE YOUR NAME, DAMN IT) is writing some of their music. I liked what little I heard of what he wrote for LIFE LINE.

Entered this. I have zero interest in any of the bands, and I wasn't planning on going or even trying to go, but the professional experience would be absolutely invaluable so I want this BAD. I don't know they were looking for in the essay thing, or if they even had any expectations, but I think I gave them a good one. It was about ANARCHY IN THE MEGURO, obviously. (I was kind of torn between it and ACen 2007, because both were amazing, though.) I bet they read it and where like "who the fuck is she talking about???"
Oh, and I finally had to email CD Japan because my Goddamned CDs never made it. They can't replace the Acid Black Cherry CD unless I accept the regular press, which I don't want. I'm not terribly crushed, it wasn't mostly an impulse buy anyways. I asked if they can change for something else entirely, and if they can't I'll just get a complete refund and re-order the BREAKERZ album with a LAID album. I'm really mad that I haven't heard Crash & Build yet because they've got the mini-album coming out so soon.

What the fuck is this attitude that it's okay to like THE UNDERNEATH and pretend like TRANSTIC NERVE never happened/has zero connection whatsoever? Can someone tell me what the big difference is between MOON FLOWER and TRANSTIC NERVE's RASIE A FLAG? Because I'm not hearing it. The only difference I'm seeing in band dynamic is that Taka is writing the majority of their music now, and the only difference in the recording is the mixing. The bass is turned way up and the mid levels are way down, whereas on RAISE A FLAG it was all pretty evenly mixed. I have experienced zero surprises from them thus far.
I think this is about people not wanting to admit they had NO FUCKING CLUE who they were before they became THE UNDERNEATH. Like it's okay they weren't paying attention all this time because hey, they're obviously not the same band at all, so who cares about what they did before! Am I the only who realizes they did this because they KNEW they had next to no fans over here, and thus could get away with reinventing themselves? They said as much in that interview posted on JRev.
And yeah, definitely making a secret about this. Also making one about MUCC. (You'll know which one- it'll be like the only "I don't like MUCC" one ever in the history of jrocksecret.) And I might just submit that super nasty one about KING. But I need to tweak it first. Also making one about Tatuya Ishii, because he's the shit and makes Yoshiki look like a fucking failure and everyone MUST KNOW THIS.
