LALALA~~~

I'm writing a rant to post on jrock_rant. Can you guess what it's about? I'm actually considering making a post on breakerz itself, because I would actually like everyone to move on, and I don't think that will happen if I do something like rant on j_r.

Right now though, I'm offended by two specific things:

1. Implying her weekly posts of flocked material are even remotely similar to seiret's BRZ Fan updates. I just... what. NO.

2. The comment locking. Seriously? This is immature and cowardly.

On a more serious, and less raegy note, I was attempting once again to put thoughts in order about why I dislike new fans latching onto the guys' old projects, and I did realize one thing.

I am still mourning NEVER LAND. Next January will mark four years since they split (holy shit what), but I am still mourning what was, what will never be, and in my mind should have been. I have difficult time accepting that a fan who "discovered" them after the fact could understand this loss.

This isn't arrogance speaking, though I certainly won't claim to be unbiased about new fans. But for instance, how many BREAKERZ fans like NEVER LAND and are actually interested in, say, what Makoto is up to? Judging by the comments on his blog, I would absolutely no one. I'm not saying I really mind people liking them as an extension of liking Akihide, because there's not really anything wrong with that. What I do mind is anyone claiming they like NEVER LAND separately from liking Akihide, when anything else about the band clearly doesn't interest them.

I can also say, as someone who has become a fan of more than a few bands after they disbanded, that you don't really mourn a band you weren't a fan of before they disbanded. I love several disbanded bands to death, but the sense of loss is completely absent.

I guess my point is this: love NEVER LAND all you want, but if weren't there, you don't understand. Honestly, if you were a BREAKERZ fan first, I think you're very lucky. You will never look at them and feel a sense of loss for what you used to enjoy.

That's really the hardest thing for me anymore. I look at them, and I read about them, and I even listen to their music, and all I feel is loss. It reminds me that there is a huge hole that can't be filled, because the damage done is irreparable. I think that's what I hate the most about Daigo's done. He's created a situation from which there is absolutely no return.

I think this would all be easier to deal with if there weren't thousands of fans who love what I can't stand.

rage, breakerz, daigo, never land, breakerz fans, akihide
