I really have been distracted. I forgot to mention that I got some stuff from SMJ the other day. I mentioned them here originally.

Okay, so I was expecting the KING demos to be... well, not amazing music. They aren't actually KING, they're from the battle of the session units (or whatever you want to call it, I don't even understand it completely myself). The シモノケヒメ one is actually pretty good, mostly because Row-Kun can actually sing. He's not amazing, but he's certainly passable. The 風の子パンダース one though... I believe my thoughts while listening were "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS." Its only redeeming feature is the guitar solo near the end.

The lovebites single, however, I was expecting to be actual music. And it is, but... oh the vocals. What in the hell, Tsuyoshi, just... I don't even. He sounds like some a cross between a 10 year old boy and slutty girl. It's not quite as strange as that description sounds, but it is a lot different than how he sounds now. I don't think the vocals would be as bothersome to me if the compositions were stronger. But it's kind of growing on me anyways. The second song reminds me a little of mid-90s L'Arc, which is nice. And the third song reminds me a lot of ガーリッシュマインド or ドミソファイター by Waive, but obviously no where never as good.

purchases, lame bands are lame, lovebites, king
