Sidling in from ffr, I'd definitely be interested :) The post, and the comments so far, made me feel much better about my all female main cast for nanowrimo ^^
I have no idea what my nano shall have but there will be kick-ass female characters in it because, goddammit, I will practise what I preach. and it is not like I am setting it in a 14th century monastery or something :P
Up until 9 days ago I was writing Doctor Who fanfic for Nano
Now it's a sort of mad scifi fantasy fusion where magic is the world's energy supply and social class is mainly determined by how much magic people have. Also a secret society of treasure hunters (ala Indiana Jones or Lara Croft)
Yeah.
Now I just need time to actually start (is posting from work, bad Eve ^^)
*grin' that sounds pretty awesome in all accounts.
Right no I have an art thief who is BFF's with an FBI agent (too much white collar) and apparently, a painting the russian mob wants. this will get interesting :P
Thanks ^^ right now it feels like a disaster in progress (only one character with a name, not sure my plot is not insane, and paranoidly certain plotholes are out to get me) but my past experience leads me to believe that 'disaster in progress' is a legit definition of NaNo
White Collar is a Tv show?
I think it sounds interesting in any case :)
Haha first place my mind went when I saw reference to a painting that people want was 'the fallen Madonna with the big boobies' (TV called 'allo, 'allo set in WWII France, said painting is a recurring plot point)
Disaster in progress is a good descriptor of any and all nano novels ever. :D
White Collar is. basic premise is that a conman/art theif/forger dude ends up workinfg for the FBI as a form of parole and shenanigans & bromance ensues. :D
Now I have a terrifying urge to watch 'allo 'allo again :D
*laughs, nods* that's got to be an eternal truth of some kind for surely.
Hmm sounds like an interesting show, I wonder if it ever aired here (Australia) possibly if it did there was something I already liked in the same timeslot
*nods!* not to mention the unleashing of a voracious horde of typo gremlins (lol)
My internet dies if I try to play video through it but might check out the local library's collection. Up until now everything I knew about the show I picked up from ffr.
Haven't seen the entire 9 or 10 seasons of 'allo, 'allo but I like what I have seen :) definitely one of my favourite British TV shows
