So on Wednesday I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 1.
Ok, this movie had way too little Death Eaters and too much scenery pr0n. and too much teen drama.
Fenrir? hot. hot. hot. WAAAAANT. I want to get into his pants (both in the woink wink sense and in the stealing them sense) and Snape!!! and poor Lucius...
I found myself struck by a very odd contrast - how Luna's dad and Lucius looked very similar int heir.. stricken excpressions. Tbh, Lucius looks like he has had a nervous breakdown - the biggest giveaway of just how FUCKED UP he is in this movie is his stubble. like - it just made me go "....!" about him.
I also found myself appalled at the point where Hermione beats at Ron when he comes back. we are supposed to find this funny and romantic. Um sure - change them around, ron hitting hermione when she returns, who is laughing now? Fucking doublt standard.
I also found some of the costuming a bit - well, odd I suspect is a good word for it. The Ministry bodies they took over were far too.. muggle-appearing to my liking.
where i s all the Fenrir/hermione fic? cause come on, evil chemistry then and there.
Did i mention the scenery porn? Wurgh. there was TOO MUCH of it. way too much.

I have been on a HP fic kick as a result. tbh, have a plot bunny that would have ms_anthrophy crawl out of hell itself to beat me to death with a shovel. But have tot hink about it a lot moar...
