OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!!!!!! Legend of the Seeker how did you DO IT????? How did you manage to actually SURPASS my crazy expectations for this episode??? i mean, between all the awesome promo pictures and just the concept of Cara and Kahlan trapped in a tomb to all the lj craziness and anticipation I was pretty sure there was no way this episode could actually be as good as I hoped. but but BUT!!! IT WAS!!! it was so good it made me want to post on my oh so rarely used lj because I needed an outlet for squee! GUH! KARA SHARED HER ~FEELINGS ~ AND THEN GOT ALL EMBARASSED ABOUT IT!!!! THEY WRESTLED OVER WHO WOULD SACRIFICE THEMSELVES FOR THE OTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS!
EDIT: I HAD TO COME BACK AND SQUEE MORE SPECIFICALLY AND UNASHAMEDLY ABOUT ALL OF THIS:

AND THEN THERE IS MUTUAL HUGGING AND KARA HAS THIS PROBLEM WHERE THERE'S WATER IN HER EYES WHILE SHE'S STROKING KAHLAN'S MUSCULAR BICEP SO SHE DECIDES TO SOLVE IT BY SACRIFICING HERSELF TO SAVE THE WOMAN SHE LOVES HER FRIEND KAHLAN
AND THEN AND THEN AND THEN! KAHLAN IS UPSET ABOUT HER GIRLFRIEND CARA TRYING TO KILL HERSELF, SO SHE BEATS CARA UP (AND CARA IS PROBABLY LIKE FINALLY SOME PUNCHING! THIS IS SO MUCH MORE FUN THAN TALKING! BUT NOT AS MUCH FUN AS OTHER THINGS WE COULD BE DOING TO WASTE OXYGEN FASTER AND COMPLETELY DEFEAT THE PURPOSE OF MY SELFLESS GESTURE!
C: *gasping while K holds her in a headlock* Stop pretending my life means as much as yours! *elbows K in the gut and then flips her onto the ground only to collapse herself*
AND THEN THERE ARE NUMEROUS CLOSE-UPS OF HAND HOLDING!!!!
AND THEN AT THE END!
K: You were wrong before, back in the tomb. Your life is just as important as mine is. If it weren't for you we wouldn't have been able to free Zedd from the *plot device*. *smiles smugly*

K: *smiles even more* Yeah, it really meant a lot to me.
C: Forget I said it. I was delirious from the lack of air.
K: *facepalm* *smile*
hehehe! Poor Cara, all embarrassed that she caught ~emotions from Kahlan. Who knew those damn things could be so contagious!? Whatever. Kahlan, much like Kara Thrace, knows that there are no takebacks. "I consider you to be my friend" obviously translates directly into "I love you with a fiery passion" and from now on I will only use it as such.
