There's not much more I can add (besides the usual gushing I did in my email!) but can I just say how fucking over the moon happy I am that you wrote this?? I so, so, SO love male-bonding, shit-talking, and characters just doing things that ordinary people do (when they are not saving the Earth from evil shit, that is!). I'm also happy because you have the technical know-how to make this scene realistic, and that you kept everyone in character really well

LMAO! this was absolutely hilarious. I loved Rei's trash talk and Serena teaching Aja PMS. Reminds me of a couple of frays I got into when I used to go see my guy play soccer. Needless to say I was banned from ever going again. Ha Ha Ha. Loved it!!

Like others, Aja get the warning is awesome. I also lke Darien & Noah giving hell because their girls were insulted. And PMS - that was just classic. I'm ALWAYS afraid I'm going to slip up & say something that my 2-yaer-olds are going to pick up & go home & repeat, so very nice!

Ah, children are sponges!! I recently saw this very well done (and I think quite profound) clip about how children just soak up everything their parents do. It was very cleverly done and got the message across extremely well.

I was originally hoping for a Celtics/Lakers rematch 'cause Lord knows we need the redemption - but I'm super psyched to see Lebron & Kobe go at it (as long as neither team f-'s it up). Any particular team(s) for you?

And I think you would blow my fics out of the water if you wrote one, and if VO1 catches wind of this, I'm sure she will start hounding you for some bball fics! I don't know where you've been since SWiB or what you've done, but you've matured so much as a writer.

Thank gawd my writing has progressed, because I literally cringed and shuddered the last time I re-read SWIB. I'd take it down altogether, but some people still seem to enjoy it so I leave it up. ^^;

I think with SWIB, my intentions and plot ideas were decent, but my execution of it was HORRIBLE.

But, in response to your comment, 99% of SWIB = high school writing. I think that might just explain it all.
