“And Stefan had layers… so many layers. Stefan Salvatore was probably the most layered character on this show.” - Great point! I didn't even think about it until now, but you're so right.

I honestly think that so many people were misled by the 'good brother' halo that was told (as opposed to shown) that the incredible layering and depth of this character was missed by so many because it's so much more common to see the bad boy, the anti-hero with the depth and layers. However, per usual, The Vampire Diaries, offered the very same for their 'hero' too.

"Janina Gavankar effortlessly came on-screen and owned every scene she was in from minute one until her much-too-soon final one." - My sentiments exactly. I wish she stayed a little longer or at least came back at some point. She was truly delightful to watch.

God, I would have loved to see her again during the conclusion of the Other Side story and to see her somehow slip back in again when everyone else was because actually being with Silas made her realize he was so not worth it would have been awesome. I just loved her so.
