What’s interesting in this comparison is also the different color/light of the scene: While Bonnie’s funeral, a girl that died too young, which made them all grieve for the unfairness of it all, was held in dark and muted colors; Stefan’s scene on the other hand which its light and warm colors highlights the fact that he was fine with dying for his friends and family, that he had a long and fulfilled life and found peace and the Scooby-gang understood that.
Ah, that was a beautiful point. I totally missed that, and I made the dang gifs. LOL! I really love how you phrased it too, the young-taken-too-soon Bonnie, and the at-peace-it's-his-time Stefan.
