Will we hear Ross Copperman again in "The Vampire Diaries" finale?
Holding on and letting go to Hunger?
So two of the biggest moments in the Damon and Elena relationship were highlighted by lovely songs by Ross Copperman. Their first real kiss was accompanied by his "Holding On And Letting Go," and their final dance and kiss before Damon had to say goodbye to Elena in her Sleeping Beauty state was delivered to the strains of his "Hunger." Well, I'm thinking there is a real possibility that at some point during Damon and Elena's final scenes of the series we may hear another song by Mr. Copperman.
Now "Breathe" is my best guess, but there are a few others I could see being played for them as well. The others are "The One," "Can't Stop Loving You" and "I Don't Wanna Let You Go." Yes, you would think that last one would be my top pick (with that "letting go" theme), but most of the lyrics for "Breathe" almost eerily fit. A good portion of IDWLYG fit, but the overall song feels more like Damon after he decided to make up with Elena in "The Devil Inside" (before Katherine ripped his heart into a million pieces while possessing Elena), but that one particular portion, ooh, the lyrics there are so perfectly Damon/Elena:
