Emotionally it's perfect because I could feel all of Elena's conflicting emotions.

Phew! That is exactly what I'm trying to get across.

Loved her conversation with Matt and how he rightly pointed out how wrong Stefan's actions were and called her always forgiving Damon. Thanks for making Matt the voice of reason.

I was just following through with his words in the finale, LOL!

Really loved and thought it was true to the character the way you had Elena flaring with anger at Stefan over his actions or lack of them. You pose a very good question, how does she not grow to hate him eventually for not saving her.

Well, I don't think she'll hate him, but I think it needed to be addressed at least verbally by Stefan and in Elena's mind that regardless of him doing what she wanted, he did let her die.

It was interesting to see Damon be her emotional support and have her understand that it should be Stefan but that she didn't want him and he couldn't do it.

Hmm, it was actually supposed to be that she instinctively turned to Damon but is still living in this bubble of belief that it *should* be Stefan, and she's just sorta had a moment of it not working coming to the fore. But Elena is nothing if not denial girl, LOL!

I hated that she was barely dead 30 seconds and she was reassuring Stefan and telling him she picked him. Totally how I see it happening on the show and it's wrong and annoys me but completely in character for SE.

I actually just felt terrible for her because it was in character, and it just made me feel even more for her because that's essentially what she's been doing. Making Stefan (and on occasion, Damon) feel better when girl's life is falling apart. Oh, Elena.

I liked the bond between Damon and Jeremy and that Elena noticed. Can't wait to read chapter 2. Thanks for sharing.

Damon and Jeremy do continue and I'm glad you're enjoying. I'm going for a two-week posting schedule here. I hope I can keep up. :)
