I love him because he's witty and snarky, and although he projects a layer of not caring, he has a big heart who will fiercely do whatever he can to help those he cares for.

Ooh, your Revenge feels are my Revenge feels, including the unpopular ones re: the triangle putting you to sleep & the Emily/Fauxmanda friendship. I love that scene in the parking lot where Fauxmanda called Em on using her even tho she thought they were friends, and that Em >>> Jack for her. LOVE IT.
& yes, NEmily is my endgame forevermore too. I'm so glad we're on the same page; really hope I'll get to watch & discuss w/ you next season!

What is there not to love about Rebekah? She's THAT awesome. She's snarky, funny, sweet, evil, vulnerable, deadly, vicious, caring and everything in between.

I LOATHE that they made her and Damon fuck-buddies. Claire Holt is one of the few actor who has less chemistry with Ian Somerhalder than she does with others I've seen her interact with (Paul Wesley, Zach Roerig, Joseph Morgan, Nina Dobrev). And the whole idea of the brothers having both bed yet *another* woman? Ugh.

Although, Matt/Rebekah is my endgame OTP, I do want to see Stefan/Rebekah explored before that endgame hits.

OMG, I really hate the D/R thing too and am completely w/ you that no chemistry was involved in the shooting of that scene. Lots of ppl thought they were rly hot and that it's my D/E feels getting in the way - I'm sorry, no. I can ship a couple and accept the counterparts hooking up w/ someone else for their steaminess if there's any, but I just couldn't see it here.
Still hoping for Stefan/Rebekah as well. Maybe they'll revisit it seasons down the line like they're revisiting Stefan/Caroline, lol.
Your Elijah unpopular opinion is definitely not something I see often. I love the E/E scenes & can't say I see the father/daughter aspect per se, but I do think that essentially Elijah's heart belongs to Katherine, and as the show has emphasised time & time again, Elena =/= Katherine.
Father/daughter isn't quite the right word, but it's more older man, young girl and adding any kind of romantic/sexual subtext to that makes it come across as VERY squicky and gross to me.

All it's doing is highlighting the lack of Damon/Elena, and considering what we *finally* saw of D/E last season, the chemistry/emotional/sexual comparison to Damon/anyone else will just fail even greater
