Oh man, looking through pictures of her, it's frustrating because she had GORGEOUS hair. Man!

I am okay with her, and am so amused by her (totally fits her back-story) wimpy, wimpy ways, but as a cliffhanger? Eh. I think that Julie and Kev thought she would take off like Anna, Pearl, Alaric (thus naming her initial episode, "Rose"), and if it had been one of them last season after we'd gotten a good taste of them, we would have been OHMYGODNO!!!, but Rose? Again, eh.

but yea, she doesn't do a great deal for me either (and it's not because I think she's a threat to Damon/Elena or whatever because I know she isn't and I actually think she's a good tool for Damon's overall development). I mean I don't hate her by any means (like you said) but idk I'm just not invested in her the way I was in Anna, Pearl, heck I even had a softer spot for Harper who we saw like 5 minutes of =/

If she does end up dying, I hope it will be in way that deeply impacts Damon (and possibly even Elena and Stefan) because I think that will be the only way existance of her character will resonate with me *-)

Exactly.

If she does die (which, frankly, I'm not expecting -- their days of killing off characters with any development, ie., Aimee, Sarah, Carter -- seems to be in the past), I just don't want to see it send Damon in a tailspin. I know what Kevin said about her place in Damon's story, but I can't help but worry that they'll give her significance in his heart. I will be honest, that will piss me off because the dude was faithful in his love to Katherine for 145 years, and yet he starts to fall for someone else after only 2-6 months of loving Elena? Really. I know, I know, I'm jumping the gun, but what can I say? 2x11 really did disappoint me. I'm sadly now wary. :(

The crime that has been committed with her hair is second only to what they have done to Ian's this season!

I think on one hand it makes sense for Damon to care because the idea is that caring for Elena made him start to care in general, but there are limits. I don't want him to fly off the handle, just show some genuine concern. Cause like you said there is no way that he would fall for someone else so soon.

Jesus Christ, they need to leave Ian's hair alone! This guy is one of the closest things on this planet to physical perfection and I swear the make-up artists/hairstylists of this show have made it their personal goal to see if they can manage to make him unattractive. The hair styling/color (why the inky black? God help me, WHY THE INKY BLACK!?!?!?) and the make-up is just ... geez!

Ahem.
