Top Chef All Stars - Premiere
I'm quite happy with the cast they have assembled for Top Chef: All-Stars. Namely because I've got my Carla (HOOTIE-HOO!), my Angelo (LOVE HIM!) and Jennifer. (Yeah, she doesn't get a possessive, I like her, but she's no Carla or Angelo). There are many others I really like, so that's cool too. But for me, it's really all about those three, with an extra helping dose of squee for Carla and Angelo. And, whee!! They seem to like each other based on some interviews thus far, so yay!!
And they were sitting next to each other in the stew room. Of course, I noticed that.
So favorite moments in this episode: "Interesting." Carla holds the expression for a moment, then "That's the kiss of death." I love her. And WOOHOO! Angelo won the first challenge. Blah, blah, blah, it would have been Blais, yes, but Blais broke the rule, so Angelo won fair and square. Yeah, baby!!
- Jaime's already annoying the heck out of me though. Saying she's better than Carla (and Fabio). I was all: "Bitch, you went home when? Fabio almost made the finale and my girl, Carla, did, so shut yo mouth!" Ugh.
- Wow, Padma really, really does suck. Especially after a season of Just Desserts with sparkly Gail. Ah well.
And, uhm, yeah, that's all.
And, appropriate icon is so very appropriate. :)
ETA: SQUEE! I read an interview with Carla, then one right after with Angelo where he praised Carla and I tweeted this: I just clapped reading an interview with Angelo (Top Chef); he said he 'bleeping loves Carla." SQUEE! Carla and Angelo! MY FAVES!
Then this morning when I woke up, there was this tweet from the one and only Carla Hall! @arabean That's sweet. Where did you see the interview with @angeloasosa?
I replied ... and squeed! :)
