Oh my gosh, I am SO glad you posted on the finale because I don't know of anyone else who watches this...
On Felicia Day -- I agree 100%. I didn't mind her as Penny, but I really, really disliked her in both Epitaph 1 and 2. There's just something about her that was NOT right for this version of Jossverse. Just not right at all!
Freaking Joss Whedon and his needing to KILL people all the time. He already mind-f***ed us by making Boyd the bad guy (=O) and then killing Bennett like that... but Paul, too??!! Come on, Joss!
That said... I was *so* relieved that Tony and Priya got their happy ending. Their relationship throughout the show always killed me in a good way. Just soooo sweet.
Topher -- his last moment was really, really nice. Finally, some peace for our not-so-evil genius. That last moment with him and Adele, when she cradled his face -- SO WELL DONE.
Echo/Caroline -- um, yeah... wasn't too impressed or caring much about her at this point, and that's fine... the show really evolved to be about more than her.
I really wish Amy Acker had been in this one, though.
