and I'm crying over Michael Jackson. I wasn't a huge fan, but I grew up listening to his music, watching his dancing, etc. My mom was a big fan, and I certainly love some of his music, and I've NEVER not been amazed at his talent. It was just so unexpected and so shocking. For all his faults, he was truly one of the greatest entertainers

I understand I have never been a die hard fan of his, but when I heard the news the shook of it depressed me greatly and I started to cry. May he rest in peace.

This. I have been so sad ever since I heard the news. I just remember being a little kid and watching his music videos and thinking he was the coolest guy in the world. I remember dancing to Thriller at camp and listening to his nineties albums with my dad. Michael Jackson was incredibly talented and even as a little kid he sang like an angel. But you said it so well: he really was a great entertainer. I hope his legacy lives on.

I've never been a huge Michael Jackson fan but it's certainly sad when someone dies unexpectedly like this :-( I hope his family & friends do ok during this sad time.

Have you seen this Doctor Who "Thriller" fanvid? It's awesome! Maybe it'll cheer you up :-) [er, or make you sadder, but hopefully the former :-D]
