You know, if this ever happens, it would have to start something like this. With Penny initiating it, and, most likely, it being something prompted by some agenda or other. Because I really don't see Sheldon consciously going after Penny romantically, until such an idea bursts upon him through some other causes. And even then, he'd probably analyze it to death. lol.

That's what I think too. It would either be something like this, or something along the latter. Sheldon, being confused by his reactions, whatever of Penny, starts to research, has tests run, etc. all in an effort to gauge what is "wrong" with him. How the comic possibilities aren't seen by everyone, I have no clue. It would be hysterical.

Lol, so at first when I read the lj-cut tag, all I could think was that's some really expensive marajuana, and how the hell did Penny convince Sheldon turning into a stoner would be a good idea? Yeah, my mind goes to strange places.

ANYWAY. This turned out so much better than my cracked out expectations! WHY is it not canon? Maybe I'm biased, but a Sheldon/Penny storyline would be the most hilarious thing EVER. It's a comedic GOLD MINE.

God, I know!! Take their chemistry out of the equation for the moment and just consider the hiliarous comedic possibilities. They've got seasons upon seasons worth of material there.

LOVED it! (Yes, I've stalked you to another piece of fanfic, b/c I liked "midnight cooties" so much). I just hope Penny then makes it clear that the kiss wasn't in any way a "joke" on Sheldon, which could counteract all the AMAZINGNESS of said kiss! Yeah, I could see it happening this way on the show.
