I'm so happy this show is renewed. I was seriously worried it wouldn't be. It's a great show that sadly not enough people watch.
I actually don't mind the romance between Reese/Liet. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. I don't like the Charlie/Ex storyline thoughh. While I understand where it is coming from, I'm hoping he'll understand she has moved on and respect her marriage.
Oh, I despise the Ex. She's a vapid twit in my book. She abandons him in jail. Marries another man, and Charlie is still lusting after her. I don't have any faith in the writers. They won't let this go and bring back the Atty.

They won't let this go and bring back the Atty. I HATED the attorney, so I'm glad she's gone. And while I don't like Jennifer, I can see where she's coming from. Yeah, she abandoned him when he was in jail, but we don't know what degree that struggle was, or how difficult it was for her. And then she marries another man because she forced herself to move on, find a new life -- it HAD been twelve years, and then boom! Charlie comes back, he's innocent and it's making her not only question everything that happened in the last twelve years, but also brought back those feelings of a younger, fresher, more innocent time for both her and Charlie

Because he loved her very much, and spent twelve years basically building her up to the be love of his life who wound up "getting away." It makes perfect sense to me. Honestly, the more and more I think on it, I really think they could have fixed the problem many have with this by better casting Jennifer.
I actually don't mind the romance between Reese/Liet. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. I don't hate the Reese/Lieut story, I just don't like it because it doesn't make sense character-wise for Reese.
I don't like the Charlie/Ex storyline thoughh. While I understand where it is coming from. As for Charlie and his ex, because it makes sense, because they have chemistry, I'm fine with it, all the while I'm not expecting a happy ending at all.
I'm hoping he'll understand she has moved on and respect her marriage Oh see, I see it differently. It's not just about him; it's about her. It makes her question everything that happened in the last twelve years. If she had stuck by Charlie, if he had been acquitted, or if it hadn't happened at all, she never would have divorced Charlie, thus never married this other guy. So in a way she's being put into a situation she never expected and now when she looks at Charlie, she's not seeing the man she forced herself to no longer love because of what he did, but rather the man she was

I do agree that it must be hard and confussing for both of them, but I know them living in the past will just hurt them more in the end. I'm just hoping it doesn't get anymore uglier than it has between her, him and the new hubby.
I agree Ted doesn't have much to do lately. I worry over his character the most though, because if they ever turned on Charlie or messed up and went back to his old ways, it would break my heart.

I adore Ted. :)
