Due to a lot of comments about how much ABC loves the show, the fact that they've gotten solid ratings with only reruns for a lead-in (other than the Sunday airing, which had its best ratings), I'm pretty confident it will be back next season. (Unless it does badly tonight, but I don't think it will.)
Also, I was quite pleased that my comcast DVR had the description of the episode beginning with "the First season finale ..." Sounds good to me.
I liked the last episode a lot and I was glad (?) the earthquake happened because it proved that Eli is for real. I admit I expected it to look a bit worse (well, the non-Golden Gate bridge falling apart part), but I still liked it.
As for this episode: I think I'll like it more when I watch it again. Not to say that I didn't like it (because I did), it just had an interesting format that I didn't quite pick up on fast enough. (I do have a headache, that's my excuse, LOL!).
Before I get to my favorite part, did any other West Wing fan catch Richard Schiff walking in the background of the first scene and think "That's Toby," even before we saw his name in the credits? I liked how they did that, kinda cool. Okay, favorite part ...
I FRICKIN' LOVED the ending SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. I rewatched immediately afterwards. It was just awesome. First, George Michael as God. HAH! Then singing the awesome "Feeling Good," and then Victor Garber and Loretta Devine joined in, and then flashbacks of Eli's journey -- including the MEli kiss and the flash-forward of Maggie and the baby -- culminating with them all dancing around him before he willed himself awake. Just. Frickin. Awesome! And I totally bought it, cuz, you know, he is a prophet, LOL! So it worked for me.
Now, I can't wait for next season. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
