So, this last week-weekend was very very long. Lots of work and barely time to catch a breath, specially on the weekend! I'm quite new to this holidays-shift and I never ever thought it would be like this... and they say it was a minor one, (I think I'm gonna die on Christmas).
Things I learned:
1. Commuting SUCKS!! royally.
2. Wearing thermal underwear pants while working at the Pediatrics's ER, is NOT a bright idea
3. NOT wearing thermal underwear pants outside the ER is NOT a bright idea either... that stupid City is cold!
4. Holidays (at ER) sucks
5. Trusting your cell phone to wake you up is also a bad idea. Specially when you have to travel about an hour and a half to get there. (And doing said trip on barely one hour isn't safe for anyone, specially for me)
6. Speaking of safety: Children really should listen to their parents or don't have holiday breaks and go to school either way to avoid accidents!!!!
