I really DO like
this fic I wrote, so I did a quick find/replace because I think it works. Just, um...suspend your disbelief that anyone could mistake those shoulders for a girl's. Pretty much for
keyweegirlie to read. J2 version, PG-13
One day Jensen Ackles woke up a girl.
Wait. Scratch that.
One day Jared Padalecki asked Jensen Ackles out.
“Hi sweetheart,” Jared said. His voice was gruff, cigarettes and caffeine washing over Jensen’s spine. Jensen glanced up from the book in his hand, peering over the edge. His lashes fluttered.
“Uh…hi.”
Jared leaned down, lowering the book where it shook in Jensen’s fingers. He cocked an eyebrow; focused on Jensen’s lips. “Aren’t you the pretty one?”
“Um.” Jensen sucked his lower lip between his teeth nervously. “Can I…is there something you need?”
“Just a little time with you, baby girl. I’m Jared. Whaddaya say I pick you up tonight, take you on the town?”
Jensen’s mind reeled. This guy was hot, sure. And forward and confident and…hot. But…
“Great. You live upstairs, right?” Jared leered. Jensen shrunk back, features twisted in confusion. His mouth was dry and he was growing weary of just how much this guy knew about him. Plus the one major thing he seemed to be missing.
“Don’t worry,” Jared said, reading Jensen’s scowl. “I come here often, have seen you is all. Not a stalker, scouts honor.” He held his hand up, palm outward. Jensen traced the length of Jared’s fingers with his eyes and promptly decided to take Jared at his words because those hands…
Jensen nodded dumbly.
“Great, pick you up at eight!” With a quick smile and a gentle squeeze to Jensen’s shoulder, Jared turned to saunter out the door of the coffee shop.
And oh but he had a really great ass. Jensen wondered idly where Jared had gotten those jeans.
Yup, Jensen thought dryly. He was such a girl.

Except, really? He wasn’t.
No, Jensen had a dick and everything. Honest.
“Well, I mean.” Mike twirled his pen between his fingers; gnawed on the end thoughtfully. His lips twisted as he chose his words. “You do kinda have, um. Feminine features?”
Jensen huffed, blowing his bangs out of his eyes.
“Yeah, but. He thinks I’m a girl. What do I?” Jensen belly-flopped onto his bed dramatically. “He thinks I’m a GIRL.”
“I don’t know, man,” Mike said, plopping down beside Jensen. He patted Jensen’s back awkwardly. “Obviously he likes you. What does it…what does it matter?”
Jensen winced and spun, glaring at Mike. “What does it matter? He thinks. I’m. A. Girl.” Jensen enunciated each word, trying to get his point through Mike’s thick THICK skull. “He’s expecting, I don’t know…girl parts? Seriously Mike. How can you not see how this is a problem?”
Settling his weight back, Mike shrugged. “So you don’t have boobs. Big whoop. The guy seems to like you for you.”
Jensen hopped off the bed, stomping across the room and spinning in front of the closet door to stare Mike down again. He was pitching a fit and he knew it, but damn it, this was a huge problem. “No, I don’t have boobs. I don’t have boobs or, you know, that other main thing girls have.”
Mike stared at Jensen blankly. So Jensen did the only rational thing.
He stomped his foot and threw his hands in the air.
“A vagina, Mike. I don’t. Have. A vagina.”
Mike rolled his eyes. “Yeah, and?”
Jensen’s jaw dropped. Why had he ever befriended such a blockhead?
Shaking his head once more, Jensen turned and began pulling hangers from his closet. He tossed his pale green hoodie on the bed. Hopefully it would smack Mike in the face.
“He thinks I’m a girl,” Jensen sighed. This conversation was wearing him out; time to cut to the chase. “He’s probably not gay, Mike. This is gonna be horrible.”
Jensen could feel Mike’s approach, the solid pressure of his friend’s hand on his shoulder. “Hey,” Mike said, twirling Jensen around. “It’s gonna be fine. You just…let him think what he thinks and wow him with that sparkling personality of yours and it’ll be. It’ll be fine.”
Mike grinned wide and bright. Jensen took a deep breath.
“Fine, fine,” he muttered, shoving Mike’s hand off of his shoulder. “Let him think what he wants. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.” Saying the words did little to convince himself, but it was a start.
He nodded at his closet, catching Mike’s eye. “But what am I gonna wear?”
Mike nudged Jensen with his shoulder and chuckled. “We’ll find something smoking.” He yanked a pair of jeans from the closet. “But we’ve gotta hurry. I still have to do your makeup!”
Mike didn’t even flinch when Jensen picked up a sneaker from the floor and threw it at his head.

Jensen eyed the object in Jared’s hand and gave a wane smile. “Um…thanks.”
Crinkling his brows together, Jared pouted. “What? Is it…is it the wrong color? Did your ex used to give these to you?” He scrubbed the back of his neck, eying the ground. “God, I always screw these things up.”
Jensen bit his lip and stretched his arm out to touch Jared’s wrist. “No, no. It’s…” He gently plucked the flower from Jared’s hand. “Thank you.”
Jared brightened instantly, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. “Welcome.” Grabbing Jensen’s hand, Jared tugged Jensen the rest of the way down the steps. “C’mon. I’ve got the greatest date planned. You, my dear, are gonna feel like the belle of the ball.”
Jensen flexed his fingers against Jared’s palm and swallowed hard. He could do this. Totally.
“So, um. Where are we headed?” Jensen asked, falling in step beside Jared. The flower hung limply in his free hand. Jared peered at Jensen sideways, smirking mischievously. Jensen’s pulse pounded in his ears.
“That’s for me to know and you to find out,” Jared said. He suddenly halted on the sidewalk, jerking Jensen to a stop beside him. “I almost forgot.”
“What?” Jensen asked, panic rising in his chest. Jared’s hands settled on Jensen’s hips and Jensen craned his head back, putting space between them. Jared smiled.
“Almost forgot to tell you how amazing you look.”
Jensen blushed to his toes. He could feel the heat coloring his cheeks and laughed nervously. “Um…”
Jared’s eyes crinkled when he smiled and he released Jensen. “Yeah, that was cheese. True, but cheese.”
Jensen just bit his lip and laced his fingers through Jared’s again.
Yeah. He could totally do this.

So…maybe things had progressed a little quicker than Jensen had expected.
But Jared. Jared had brought him to the carnival and taken him on the Ferris wheel and bought him cotton candy and won him a god awful bright pink stuffed bear as big as Jensen’s head and even worse than all that Jared had…had…smiled at him. This warm smile that shot straight to Jensen’s gut, sending flutters up his spine.
And a tell tale bulge to his pants.
Holding the bear in front of him, Jensen turned to face Jared once more.
Bad plan. He should have tried thinking about the vice president and snapped drum sticks and pineapples in his pants instead. But alas. Jared. Smiling.
Jensen coughed. “So, like. What do you wanna do next?” he asked, clinging to the bear as his life line. The scratchy material bit into his fingers. Jared leaned in.
“I was thinking we’d take Mr. Snuggles for a ride on the Ferris wheel. Seeing as how he missed out last time,” Jared whispered conspiratorially. His breath curled hot up Jensen’s neck. “You up for that?”
Yeah, totally not helping matters. Not to mention that Jensen was a little too up for it. He swallowed again.
“Yeah. Okay. We could…we could do that.” Jared grabbed for the bear - to carry it for was sure - but Jensen held tight. Jared raised an eyebrow then shrugged.
“Alright. If you can’t bear to part with our love child for a moment, I guess I can deal.” Jared pried one of Jensen’s hands off of the bear though, and pressed their palms together. “But. I’ll warn you. We might have to cover his eyes once we get to the top.”
Jensen’s heart dropped to his stomach and he shuffled his feet. Oh god oh god oh god. How was he gonna…there was no way out.
He found himself seated in the round bucket seat, the plastic umbrella stretched high above his head. Had he been that lost in his own thoughts that he missed the entire process?
Jared slid in beside him, winking at the carnie and handing over a five dollar bill. Jensen’s heart rate sped up as the cart lurched and they began to move. The carnie waved, revealing a greasy smile.
“What…what, um. What was that about?” Jensen asked, finally able to find his voice. The funnel cake they’d had churned uneasily in his stomach as they began to rise higher. Jared looked up from beneath his lashes, eyes dark and unreadable.
“I may have paid the man off,” he murmured, inching closer. Jensen shifted the bear on his lap, his heart pounding a bruising rhythm against his breastbone.
“Jared…”
“Shh,” Jared said. “He’s just gonna leave us at the top for a little bit. So we can….”
Oh god. Jensen flattened his palm against Jared’s chest, feeling the hard muscle twitch beneath his palm. Jensen felt ridiculously faint.
“Jared, I. There’s um. There’s something I’ve got to tell you,” he managed. Jared’s head was scant inches from his neck, a slow stream of air hitting the tender skin behind Jensen’s ear.
“Hmm?” Jared said. His fingers curled into the hair at the nape of Jensen’s neck. Jensen shuddered. “Did I tell you yet that I like your hair? I like your hair.”
Turning his face carefully, Jensen looked at Jared. His lips were all too close, pink and shiny. “You like…”
“Like it,” Jared muttered. “Nice and short and out of the way. Let’s me get right close to your neck so I can…”
And with that warm lips pressed to the column of Jensen’s throat. He choked on a groan, his hand sliding up over Jared’s bicep to curve around his shoulder, thumb digging into to the soft material of his tee. “Jared, I. I have to…”
Lips slid from neck to jaw, Jared mouthing along Jensen’s chin before pulling back and studying his mouth. “Don’t think,” Jared whispered and leaned in, aligning their mouths.
It was warm and wet and Jensen’s eyes fluttered shut, giving into the press of Jared’s lips upon his own. Sliding his hand to cup the back of Jared’s head, Jensen parted his lips, tongue darting out to trace Jared’s mouth. He tasted like powdered sugar and sin and Jensen could not for the life of him imagine why he ever had a care in the world before this very moment.
That is until Jared’s hand came to rest high on Jensen’s thigh. Jensen jolted back, pulling free of Jared’s mouth.
“What’s…what is it?” Jared asked, his brow furrowed with worry. “I didn’t mean to rush you, I just…”
Jensen took a deep breath, steeling himself. “Jared, look. I like you. I do. Lots,” he amended, seeing the hurt expression on Jared’s face. He never wanted to see look that again. “It’s just that I don’t think you get that…um.” Jensen twisted his free hand against the bear, frantically searching for the right way to put it.
“You’re a virgin?” Jared blurted, eyes rounded with wonder. Jensen spit out a chuckle.
“No, no. Not at all, I just…”
But then there was Jared again, all up in his space, lips caressing over Jensen’s. Soothing. “I’ll never rush you,” Jared promised and kissed him again.
Distracting. That’s what the guy was. With his tongue sliding hot against Jensen’s, his one hand tugging gently against Jensen’s scalp and his other hand sliding rough over Jensen’s crotch. Jensen groaned at the pressure.
Crotch. Right.
Jared pulled away and Jensen groaned in a much more miserable manner, burying his face in his palms. The night air around them was far too still and quiet, only the gentle sway of the cart breaking the silence. Jensen peered through his fingers, expecting the worst.
“Huh,” Jared said.
“Huh?” Jensen echoed.
“Yeah. Huh.”
Jensen tilted his head; peered over the edge and bit the inside of his cheek. Surely the fall wouldn’t be that bad if he jumped.
Cool fingers grazed the side of his face, angling his head back towards Jared. “You have a dick,” he said, voice unnervingly even.
“I…I have a dick,” Jensen parroted. The flush was creeping back into his cheeks, he could feel it.
“And you let me go around calling you sweetheart and baby girl,” Jared said, eyes still locked on Jensen’s. Jensen wished he would blink or cringe or something.
“I did,” he stammered. Jared let out a peel of laughter, slapping his knee.
“Oh my god.” Jared’s body shook, the entire cart swaying to the rhythm of his laughter. “I made such a fool of myself. You must have been laughing at me this…this entire time.”
Jensen sat stock still, desperately hoping that the wheel would begin to turn again. The one they were on and the one in his brain. His mouth dropped open, tongue rolling around words unspoken. “I…I like you,” he blurted again, dumbly.
Wiping tears from the corner of his eyes, Jared looked back at Jensen. “Well alright then.” He smiled again, that bright sunshine that ate at Jensen’s heart and leaned in. Leaned in and licked his way back into Jensen’s mouth.
Well.
The bear was quickly shoved to the floor of the cart, Jared’s hand reclaiming it’s place, Jensen moaning into Jared’s mouth.
“Your name,” Jared murmured, nipping at Jensen’s collarbone. “I never…I should have just asked your name.”
“It’s Jensen,” he said, fingers flexing in Jared’s hair. Jared licked a stripe on Jensen’s neck, scrubbed his palm downward along the inseam of Jensen’s jeans. “But I didn’t mind the other things all that much.”
Mr. Snuggles got a kick to the head when Jared’s hand skimmed under the hem of Jensen’s shirt, splaying over his stomach. “I think I can work with that,” Jared said, and Jensen let out a giggle when fingertips skated over his ribs, tickling.
One day Jensen Ackles was mistaken for a girl. And the thing is: He didn’t mind all that much.
